  • What kind of hardware do you use?
The majority of our hardware in our products are PVD plated solid brass, sourced from the USA.
  • What kind of leather do you use?
We use full grain USA vegetable tanned leather for most of our goods. Full grain leather is the strongest and most durable kind of leather. It is uncorrected, meaning it has not been buffed or sanded, which keeps the strength of the leather intact. This also means that natural characteristics from the animal will be displayed making each piece truly unique.
  • How do I make a custom order?
We currently offer customization on the products you see in store. If you are interested in getting a custom design on a product we offer, please contact us and we can begin the design process. We accept complete custom builds on a case by case basis. If you have an idea for a custom project please reach out. Depending how it aligns with our current line up, and future goals for the shop, we may accept your request. Please note, if it is completely unrelated to products we currently offer, your custom request will likely be denied. Thank you for understanding.
  • How do I care for my canvas gear?
Spot clean canvas when possible to extend the life of your gear. This can be done with soap and water. When needed, hand wash and hang to dry.
  • How do I care for my wool gear?
Wool contains natural anti-microbial and doesn't need to be washed as often as you may think. Between uses, wool may be hung up or laid flat away from direct sunlight to air out odours. Surface dirt may be brushed off. When washing is necessary, hand washing with cold water is recommended to avoid shrinking. Lay flat to dry (if hung when too wet, your gear may lose its shape).
  • How do I care for my leather goods?
Your leather goods will break in with time and use. Keeping your leather clean and moisturized between uses will prolong the lifespan of your gear. Air-dry wet leather as soon as possible. Dirt and debris can be brushed off with a damp brush. Once dry, apply a leather conditioner. Vegetable tanned leather will develop character and patina with age.
